Katie Field VN Dip CABT (Coape)

      Veterinary Nurse – NVQ level 2 & 3 in veterinary nursing, listed with the Royal College of       Veterinary Surgeons.
      Dip CABT (Coape) – Diploma in companion animal behaviour (see links)
My formal qualifications are listed above, but behind them is a life brought up working and living with animals.
      My grandparents have shown, bred and judged Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for 45 years with my Grandfather judging Crufts in 2007. My mother until recently was a specialised breeder of parrots and small birds, in which I fully participated.
      My father breeds, competes and judges in retriever field trials, training all types of gundogs, from puppies through to fully trained gun and competition dogs.
      I studied and became qualified in animal behaviour, enabling me to practice what I enjoy most in life, working with animals.
      The behaviour and training techniques that I use are primarily based on years of experience and not relying, just on theories from text books. books.
